Tidal Power Generation

Twice a day all across the globe a tremendous amount of water comes in and goes out; it has been the dream of mankind over the last 150 years to somehow harness this power and convert it into consumable energy - this has unfortunately proven elusive to date.

While the French & South Koreans did develop such technologies decades ago, their versions were not very economical and proved disastrous to the environment, essentially resulting in the stagnation of the pursuit of this technology.

Over the course of the last 5 years, we approached this development via an entirely different route that focuses on the incorporation of this tech into existing canal projects and water-ways with relatively minimal modification while negating the use of any dams or severe alterations/blockades to existing water systems.

With the relatively minimal tidal variations (averaging 7 ft) in Dubai and the GCC in general, we are capable of producing a minimum of 100 MW of power every day, without burning any fossil fuels and without impact on the environment. Said power is produced at economic costs similar to dam projects.

Where Tidal variations are more (such as the UK or Nova Scotia), modified versions can be installed while power capacity would also increase dramatically.

This technology is our flagship project  and - in a world of finite resources - is designed to generally reduce a nation's dependency on oil whilst providing a reliable & consistent source of alternative green energy for the public.

Our prototype is currently under construction and will be ready for viewing to interested parties/government organizations in the near future.
